Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Freelance Fire Risk Assessor to carry out risk assessments across a range of commercial and residential properties. The role involves site inspections, reporting, and providing actionable fire safety recommendations in line with current legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire risk assessments on various types of buildings
- Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and suggest mitigation measures
- Produce clear, detailed, and compliant reports
- Advise clients on fire safety improvements and legal obligations
- Ensure assessments align withfire safety regulations
Requirements:
- Recognised Fire Risk Assessor qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, IFE, IFSM, or FRACS)
- Proven experience across both commercial and residential sectors
- Up-to-date knowledge offire safety legislation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional indemnity insurance (desirable)
