Halian Technology is seeking a highly motivatedDV ClearedDevSecOps Engineer for a permanent position with a forward-thinking technology company delivering secure and scalable software solutions across public and private sectors.
We are looking for a UK-based professional with a strong background in secure software development, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performing, secure, and resilient solutions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, technical leads, and cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovation while embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
REQUIRED (DV Clearance)
Experience managing Linux and Windows environments in complex, high-availability setups.
Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and PackerIO.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python to support automation at scale.
Hands-on experience with container and virtualisation platforms (Docker, VMWare, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments including AWS or Azure.
Proven ability to design and deploy infrastructure with security and zero trust architecture principles in mind.
Location: Manchester or Cheltenham
Salary: £80,000- £100,000 depending on experience
Contract: £650-£700 a day
