We have an excellent opportunity for a Manual Turner to join an expanding team based in Cheltenham. They specialize in precision engineered parts for the Nuclear, Aerospace and Technology sectors and are an established leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual turning machines to execute precise machining operations.

Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure high-quality production standards.

Inspect finished products to verify accuracy and quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with manual turning machines.

Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of turning programs and machine settings.

Skills

Strong mathematical skills for performing essential calculations.

Proficiency with manual turning machine controls.

Skilled in the use of hand tools for machine setup and adjustments.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm

Friday 7am-1pm

Salary

Up to £37K
