Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join us part-time, supporting the finance function and helping maintain strong financial control as the business continues to grow. You'll be an important member of the team, ensuring client relationships remain positive while working proactively to collect outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively chase outstanding invoices by phone, email, and letter

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our client schools and settings

  • Investigate and resolve payment queries professionally and efficiently

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of debtor activity

  • Provide regular debtor reports and updates to management

  • Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative support

  • Recommend accounts for escalation or further action where necessary

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller or similar finance role

  • Excellent communication skills with a professional, friendly approach

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently

  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks

  • Competence with Microsoft Excel

  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
