The Role
We are seeking an experienced machinist programmer with proven CAM expertise. You will be a vital part of their design and manufacturing team, working from concept through to production, ensuring the machines are ready for operators to deliver top-quality results.
Key responsibilities:
* Design precision tools and fixtures using Solidworks
* Program from 3D models using CAM software for component manufacturing using SolidCAM.
* Load programs onto machines ready for operator use.
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless handover from design to manufacturing.
* Uphold strict health and safety standards in all processes.
Requirements:
* Strong CAM programming skills, implementation onto CNC machines
* Experience of manufacturing on CNC Milling and Turning machines
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* SOLIDWORKS or SolidCAM experience would be desirable.
