To lead the EIC engineering team, taking responsibility for timely delivery and organisation of EIC work packages, developing effective working practices within the team, taking responsibility for the technical validity and quality of deliverables, and ensuring adherence to relevant safety and compliance aspects.
Accountabilities:
•      Lead four EIC engineers – manage workloads, priorities, and task delivery.
•      Lead EIC budget
•      Responsible for decision making in the design and delivery of suitable (technically and commercially) systems for projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage EIC tasks/work packages to ensure quality of output, accurate task timeline forecasting, concise status communication updates and on target delivery.
- Set objectives and distribute tasks across the EIC team appropriately ensuring team members skills are applied effectively, and individuals capabilities are developed.
- Guide/coach/motivate team members to help them achieve their optimum performance levels and develop their careers.
- Develop the functional operation of the EIC team to improve effectiveness/efficiency. Implement working methods/devise appropriate standard ways of working as appropriate.
Experience Required:
- Experience in a electrical/controls design or site support role
- Extensive working knowledge of industrial process equipment and its related control and instrumentation systems
- Good knowledge of control systems theory
- Commissioning, troubleshooting and problem-solving control systems of similar or related equipment
- Supervision of less experienced engineers in their completion of tasks
