You'll be responsible for the configuration, design support, and sustainment of power management products across their full lifecycle-from initial deployment to aftermarket upgrades.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and configuration of electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and power distribution units.- Generate and verify engineering design data based on customer requirements and industry standards.- Define retrofit and service bulletin packages, ensuring clear technical documentation.- Provide hands-on support to manufacturing and production teams, resolving build and test issues.- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for in-service issues and field failures.- Participate in design reviews, lead lessons learned sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement.- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Quality, Test, and Customer Support teams.- Contribute to technical proposals and feasibility assessments for new customer requirements.Required Skills & Experience:- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, power distribution, wiring, relays, and circuit protection.- Proven experience in product sustainment or aftermarket support in aviation or a regulated engineering sector.- Familiarity with Siemens Capital tools (Logic, HarnessXC, Integrator) or equivalent electrical CAD platforms.- Understanding of configuration control, design validation, and compliance standards.- HND/HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical investigations.Desirable:- Experience with civil aviation standards (e.g., DO-160, BS7671, UL508A).- Background in aerospace, aviation, or avionics systems.- Team leadership or mentoring experience.
