The Role - Lead Electronics Engineer

We have a rare opportunity for a highly accomplished Senior level Electronic Engineer at the top of their game to join a prominent Aerospace business in the Gloucestershire area.

You will need to be competent in all areas of Electronic Engineering to lead in this hands-on role and deliver an exciting stream of work for the commercial aviation sector.

Ideally you will have a bias towards digital electronics, however analogue experience and exposure equally sought.

This is a new role, that will require a proactive and driven individual, to take charge from the offset, and operate in this senior leadership role.

Duties - Lead Electronics Engineer

• Lead the technical development of aerospace hardware for primary and secondary control systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to electrical and electronic engineers covering project scope.
• Lead in all areas including across architecture, design, requirements, and certification testing.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, software, and mechanical teams.

Background - Lead Electronics Engineer

• Proven experience in electronic design engineering within aerospace or a related field.
• Digital and Analogue Design competency
• Excellent knowledge of electronic architecture, certification standards, and safety-critical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical mentoring and project oversight.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Happy to travel for business purposes (US, China, Across UK).
