More to discuss! As an Accounts Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of non-audit clients across multiple industries, working closely with business owners to provide expert financial guidance along with managing the Accounts team. If you’re ambitious, motivated and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review annual accounts and tax computations for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Ensure timely filing of accounts and tax returns with relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and provide management figures as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and offering expert advice.
  • Stay up to date with cloud accounting software, advising clients on best practices.
  • Oversee and review VAT returns, payrolls, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Proactively manage client queries and liaise with HMRC when necessary.
  • Support the day-to-day management of a growing department, mentoring junior team members.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and attend networking events.
To be Successful:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience in a similar role.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and proactive approach to workload.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and professionalism under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively with teams and senior management.
  • A strong understanding of accounting regulations, tax compliance, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Supervisory experience and a talent for mentoring team members.
