Head of Finance and Operations

Location: South West (Hybrid Working) - (Midlands/South West - Birmingham, Swindon, Worcester, Bristol)Salary: £80,000 - £100,000

About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance and Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brokerage and a deep understanding of the insurance sector. This role involves leading and managing a large team to ensure operational excellence and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing processes to determine their effectiveness and suitability.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, particularly with brokers, on a daily basis.
  • Oversee client money management, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) requirements.
  • Produce effective management information using Power BI to support decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with team members in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance and operations within the brokerage or insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and CASS compliance.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage large financial figures effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong experience in Power BI and data analysis.
