The Role
As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team. This is a pivotal role requiring a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a structured and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage diaries and coordinate appointments for financial planners
- Prepare documentation and materials for meetings
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and written communications
- Maintain organised and accurate filing systems
Operational Support
- Support the client onboarding process, including collecting documentation
- Assist in processing client transactions and data updates
- Help prepare reports and materials for client meetings
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
Data Management and Analysis
- Input and maintain client data using financial planning software
- Perform basic analysis and assist in interpreting financial information
Client Service
- Respond to client queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Deliver high-quality service to both clients and internal stakeholders
About You
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in Financial Services
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Apple Macs is advantageous
Desirable
- Familiarity with financial planning principles and terminology
- Experience using financial planning software
