Must Have's:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry, ideally within broking or sales
- Experience working to targets and developing new business opportunities
- A good understanding of general and legal principles of insurance, and the relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
- Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent)
Nice to Have's:
- Knowledge of Education Insurance from a broker or insurer environment
- Cert CII qualification or an interest in working towards it
- Experience using CRM systems and providing accurate sales forecasts
So, What Will You Be Doing?
- Prospecting, generating leads, and securing new clients of all sizes
- Speaking with clients over the phone, via video call, and face-to-face to provide tailored insurance solutions for schools
- Building strong relationships with key partners, insurers, and internal teams
- Attending conferences to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Working with service and renewal teams to deliver an exceptional new business customer experience
- Providing appropriate insurance products to protect clients and their assets
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting referrals to other areas
- Maintaining accurate records, updating CRM systems, and providing pipeline reports
- Managing your own diary effectively, balancing prospecting, client meetings, and administrative tasks
