This is one of a few brand new roles with an exciting and genuinely unique technology start-up company in Cheltenham. Theyare looking secure a Senior/Lead RFEngineer to take ownership of the design and development of the commnucations interface for their products.

The company develop telecommunications and monitoring devices for harsh environments across the globe.

The role involves predominantly greenfield developmentwith very little (if any!) supervision so it's vital that you're able to work independently, problem solve and take complete ownership of the RF circuitry for the team.

ROLE: SeniorRF Engineer

LOCATION:Cheltenham

SALARY: ~ 85,000

Essential skills for the RF Engineer are:

  • Design of amplifiers, filters, LNAs and antennas from first principle
  • Understanding of satellite comms, LoRa, INS and GNSS
  • Ideally an understanding of development in GPS denied environments
  • Appreciation of general electronics, mechanical and software systems (power, digital control etc)
  • Knowledge of blocker/jammer tolerance
  • Willingness to complete rigorous RF testing

Due to the idea/knowledge sharing nature of the work and company, the work will be on-site in Cheltenham. However, you'd be offered flexible working hours to allow for traffic, family/personal commitments etc.
