Full-Time Economics Teacher position
Economics Teacher role starting in September

Our Client is seeking an experienced and passionate Economics Teacher who can inspire and engage KS4/5 students. The successful applicant will be part of a dedicated and experienced Economics department that consistently delivers excellent results. You will work closely with the Head of Economics to foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and application of economics in real-world contexts.

This role will involve delivering high-quality lessons in Economics, preparing students for exams, and contributing to curriculum development within the department. You will also be expected to attend departmental meetings, offer one-to-one support to students, and engage in professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics at KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that challenge students
  • Design and implement effective assessment tools to track student progress
  • Provide pastoral support to students, helping them manage their academic workload
  • Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and support enrichment opportunities for students

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Economics or a related field
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5 (preferred, but ECTs are welcome)
