Hays is working with a large and forward-thinking secondary school in Cheltenham recruiting for a Teacher of Computing on a full-time basis for the full academic year starting in September 2025. Computing and Creative iMedia are popular and well-subscribed subjects, with students showing strong engagement and enthusiasm across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Your new role

As a Teacher of Computing, you will be delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. This full-time role will involve planning, preparing, and assessing student work, as well as contributing to the wider life of the department and school. You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team that values creativity, digital literacy, and student progress.What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • PGCE or an accepted UK equivalent
  • ECTs & NQTs are welcome to apply
  • Relevant Degree in Computing or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Computing in UK secondary schools
  • A passion for working with young people and teaching them
