Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Are you a recent graduate in Town Planning or a related discipline, looking to kick-start your career with a highly regarded planning consultancy in the heart of Cheltenham?

I'm working closely with a well-established, independent planning practice known for its strong client relationships and successful track record across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team where your development will be a priority from day one.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting senior planners with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

  • Conducting research and site appraisals

  • Engaging with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders

  • Preparing planning statements and reports

  • Attending site visits and contributing to planning meetings



What We're Looking For:

  • A degree (or postgrad) in Town Planning or a related RTPI-accredited discipline

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A full UK driving licence is preferred
