Practice Administrator - Legal Firm

Join a fast-paced legal firm as a Practice Administrator - perfect for a proactive, organised professional with strong IT and administration support skills. Ideally with previous legal admin experience or administration within a professional services environment.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner the role will include;

General Admin & Operations

  • Support day-to-day office operations and process improvements

  • Help implement new software and streamline systems

  • Promote cross-department collaboration

  • Assist with implementaion of new processes, software and technologies

HR Support

  • Assist with onboarding, and payroll data

  • Maintain accurate staff records and holiday entitlements

  • Manage training bookings, appraisals, and maternity/flexible work processes

  • Coordinate leaver and induction processes

Compliance & Managing Partner Support

  • Support annual accreditations (CQS, Lexcel) and SRA data returns

  • Generate monthly reports and maintain key internal registers

  • Help with PI insurance renewals and training invoices

  • Keep intranet documents updated

  • Type and format letters and documents using the case management system

What You’ll Need

  • Must be highly confident using Microsoft 365 & IT systems

  • Strong communication and admin skills

  • Highly confidential in your approach
  • High attention to detail and calm under pressure

  • Minimum GCSE (C/5 or above) in English & Maths

Desirable:

  • Legal or professional services admin experience

  • Formal IT qualification
