A global manufacturing organisation is looking for a permanent Warehouse Manager to join their team in Cheltenham, offering a salary of 55,000 + 8,000 car allowance.

This position will be leading and developing the distribution centre so that the organisation can reliably exceed customer expectations and fulfil customer demand.

The ideal candidate will have previous with warehouse and logistics management alongside strong managerial skills.

Role responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager include:

  • Lead and develop the Distribution Centre to consistently exceed customer expectations and meet demand through effective leadership and collaboration with key supply chain functions.
  • Foster an engaged and values-driven warehouse culture focused on continuous improvement, career development, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance by implementing safe processes
  • Maintain high-quality standards to prevent damage, delays, and disruptions, aligning with customer expectations and safeguarding brand reputation.
  • Drive operational efficiency by removing barriers, optimising processes, and working closely with logistics partners and internal departments.
  • Develop contingency plans and business continuity strategies to ensure smooth operations despite external challenges.
  • Support talent growth by identifying skills gaps, conducting performance reviews, and providing necessary training for team members.

Person Specification of the Warehouse Manager:

  • Previous experience managing Warehouse operations including logistics and inventory
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership capabilities in team management, performance coaching, recruitment, and talent retention.
  • Ability to interpret data, derive insights, and implement actions to optimise supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Airfreight experience advantageous

Salary

Up to 55k + 8,000 cash car

This position requires full on-site presence.
