Maintenance Engineer

The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:

Diagnosing faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems

Repairing plant and equipment efficiently and safely

Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities

Working closely with the production team to maintain output levels

Collaborating effectively with other engineers on site
This is a true multi-skilled maintenance role with plenty of variety.
Whats Required:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

A completed apprenticeship (mechanical, electrical or control systems)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment

A strong mix of electrical and mechanical engineering skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings

Confident IT skills

A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills

Good written and spoken English
