I'm recruiting for an R&D business in Cheltenham who are looking to expand their Electronics & Firmware team. They have a requirement for a junior or mid-level Electronics Engineer to do a mixture of electronics design (analogue and digital circuitry, firmware and PCB design). 

The company offer remote working (2 days per week remote) plus flexible working hours to avoid traffic / allow school runs etc.

They are open to junior candidates (2-5 years experience) along with mid-level engineers (5+ years). 

ROLE: Electronic Design Engineer

LOCATION: Cheltenham

SALARY: Up to £55,000 (+ bonus)

Essential skills for the Electronic Design Engineer are:

  • Analogue/digital electronics understanding
  • PCB design (any package considered)
  • Firmware development in C

Beneficial skills are:

  • IoT / BLE / narrow-band RF experience
  • STM32/Atmel microcontrollers
