Manual Machinist
Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Manual Machinist for our client based in Cheltenham, a precision engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manual turning who is looking to grow within a well-established and supportive company.
Duties and Responsibilities for this Manual Machinist role include:
- Setting up and operating manual turning machines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Measuring and inspecting finished products for accuracy
- Maintaining and troubleshooting manual turning equipment
- Ensuring all work meets company standards and specifications
Requirements:
- Experience with manual turning machines and precision machining
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in measuring and inspecting finished products
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Hours and Pay for this Manual Machinist role:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 (30-minute paid break)
Friday: 07:00 - 14:30 (30-minute paid break)
Pay Rate: 15.00 - 18.00 per hour (based on experience)
