Mechanical Project Engineer - Gloucester - Salary c£60k.

I am urgently seeking an MEP Project Engineer to assist with delivery of Midlands based projects. Working primarily on MEPH Schemes in Education and Commercial new builds, you will be the Companies representative on site overseeing the installation of the full Mechanical packages for these projects.

The Mechanical packages will range from £2 - 6M with the initial project being in Gloucestershire.

Based on site in the Midlands area, duties will include:

  • Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain, the delivery teams and management.
  • Health & Safety management with support from the QHSE manager
  • Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
  • Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
  • Specification and ordering of materials.
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
  • Management and briefing of installation personnel.
  • Resolving installation and access issues.
  • Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
  • Programme and project planning

As the ideal Mechanical Project Engineer, you will have worked for another leading M&E subcontractors before and will have a strong mechanical background. You will have either SMSTS and or SSSTS. Along with relevant industry qualification and experience, you will have experience in the full Mechanical package.
