Personal Assistant.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and confident Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to one of the Directors within an NHS Trust based in Cheltenham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the Director's day-to-day activities, ensuring their schedule runs smoothly, meetings are well-prepared, and communications are handled efficiently and professionally.
This is a 6 month temporary contract. (Possibility of an extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive PA support to Director, including complex diary management and meeting coordination.
- Prepare and manage agendas, take accurate minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on actions.
- Manage and field incoming enquiries and correspondence, exercising discretion, initiative, and sound judgement.
- Support in drafting business cases, justifying spend, and coordinating with procurement teams when necessary.
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to manage documents, reports, and presentations.
- Use AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot to enhance productivity and streamline administrative processes.
- Build strong working relationships across departments, including senior C-Suite and clinical staff.
- Participate in Trust induction and any mandatory training required by the organisation.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant role, ideally supporting senior or board-level staff.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Confident, proactive, and able to use initiative when dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using new technologies (AI tools experience desirable).
- Experience within a medical or NHS environment is highly advantageous (Not essential)
- Professional, discreet, and approachable, with a "can-do" and helpful attitude.
- Will require a basic DBS.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-1700pm.
Pay Rate: 15.88p/h (Weekly Pay)
