Our client, a very busy, well-established family run business, is seeking a Sales Office Assistant to join the team. This is a full-time on-site role located in Cheltenham. You will be responsible for assisting customers, providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. You really will be the face of the business, so we are looking for someone professional and presentable.
Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
- Customer Service and Sales skills
- Strong Organization Skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Prior experience in sales or customer service roles
- Knowledge of plumbing and/or bathroom products is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
Must have’s
- Some experience selling to customers, ideally face to face
- Driving licence as there will be some delivering of products to customers
Nice to have’s
- Selling to trade and general public
- Experience within the construction/building sector
- Experience working on a trade counter
- Knowledge of heavy side and light side building materials
So what will you be doing?
- Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone
- Selling building materials to customers
- Offering the highest level of service to existing and new accounts
- Produce quotations to customers
