Responsibilities:As a Production Administrator, you will be the backbone of the production function. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in internal production meetings
  • Managing and maintaining the order book
  • Order entry and acknowledgement using a bespoke MRP system
  • Procuring raw materials
  • Conducting contract reviews and managing subcontracts
  • Arranging production meetings and taking detailed notes
  • Assisting the Production Team and maintaining reports
  • Communicating effectively with customers and team members about updates and issues
  • Managing correspondence through phone calls, emails, and post

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • GCSE A-C or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Capable of managing your workload independently and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with MRP systems
  • Previous experience in production administrative roles
