Must Have’s
- Proven experience as a Packaging Technologist
- Strong understanding of packaging components, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Degree (or equivalent) in a science or technology-based discipline
- Confident managing packaging through design, development, and implementation stages
- Skilled in packaging testing and risk assessment
Nice to have’s
- Experience within the Health & Beauty sector would be fab!
- A degree in Product Design/Materials Science/Cosmetic Science would be very advantageous!
- Experience working with Far Eastern supply base
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for packaging
- Familiarity with sustainability-focused packaging strategies
- Comfortable developing or applying new testing protocols
So what will you be doing?
- Leading packaging development across multiple projects, balancing creativity, sustainability, cost and quality
- Working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to bring packaging concepts to life
- Providing technical expertise from design to mass production
- Ensuring all components are risk assessed, tested, and regulatory compliant
- Keeping up with innovations in packaging technology and sustainability
- Supporting our Packaging Sustainability Strategy
- Producing key documentation for Product Information Files
