With a strong reputation for excellence and continuous investment in the latest technology, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Role Overview:As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components and assemblies meet strict aerospace quality standards. You will be inspecting precision-machined parts, utilising a range of measuring equipment, and working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of CNC-machined components
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Carry out in-process, first-off, final, and goods-in inspections
  • Record and report non-conformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a CNC machining or precision engineering environment
  • Aerospace industry background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of geometric tolerances, engineering drawings, and quality standards
  • Proficient in the use of manual and digital measuring equipment
  • Experience with CMM inspection (PC-DMIS or similar software advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
