Project Coordinator – Strategy Intelligence (12-month Maternity Cover fixed-term-contract)
Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 + annual bonus
Location: Hybrid (around two days a week in Cheltenham)
The role
Our client—an internationally respected technology group—needs a Project Coordinator who can keep multiple strategy projects moving and make sure senior leaders always know where things stand. You’ll sit in a small, fast-growing Strategy Intelligence team that owns the annual strategy-deployment cycle and supports transformation work across the business. It’s a clear step toward full Project Management and, over time, the senior strategy leadership team.
What you’ll do
- Run the calendar: organise action plans, checkpoints and leadership updates so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Keep information flowing: maintain RAID logs, transformation pipelines and dashboards that show progress and risks at a glance.
- Set up key meetings: build agendas, prepare decks, capture minutes and keep the SharePoint site tidy and up to date.
- Work with BI colleagues: streamline reports and automate routine tasks using Excel, Power BI, Power Apps or similar tools.
- Drive improvements: apply continuous-improvement methods (Kaizen, root-cause analysis) to remove friction and speed up delivery.
What you’ll bring
- Solid experience coordinating or managing projects in a structured environment (Prince2, Agile, PMO—any of these is fine).
- A track record of building good working relationships with project managers, analysts and senior stakeholders.
- Confident use of Microsoft 365—especially Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint—and ideally Planner, Project, Power BI or SharePoint.
- Clear, assertive communication—you’re comfortable raising questions and challenging assumptions early.
- Bonus points for familiarity with continuous-improvement techniques or data-visualisation tools such as Tableau or IBM Planning Analytics.
