This is a high-impact role that offers real autonomy, variety and the chance to shape the future of the supply chain.The role: As a Buyer you'll be taking the lead on sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth, cost-effective purchasing processes and supporting new product development through strategic sourcing initiatives.You'll be a go-to person within the team - from contract management and cost analysis to risk mitigation and process improvement. - Independently manage end-to-end procurement of materials, components and services
- Negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms with both new and existing suppliers
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity and performance
- Support product development by identifying and onboarding new suppliers
- Conduct cost and supply chain analysis, driving continuous improvements
- Monitor PPV and other KPIs to deliver on commercial targets
- Work across departments to align procurement activity with broader business goals
- Champion best practices and help evolve procurement strategy alongside leadership
The person:
- Previous experience in a buying or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Solid analytical abilities and comfort with data and reporting tools
- ERP/MRP system proficiency (any system considered)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- Self-motivated, methodical, and detail-oriented
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Strategic sourcing background
