Established over 200 years ago, our client is a family-run business based in the heart of Cheltenham Proudly representing many luxury timepiece and fine jewellery marques, they are not only the pre-eminent retail destination in the town, but also attract clientele from further afield. There is now an opportunity to join the company as a Repairs Co-ordinator - a highly visible, in-store role with significant scope for development.

Job Role:
  • Focused on all aspects of after-sales, this role is primarily responsible for processing all store and customer repairs.

  • The business prides itself on having the infrastructure - both in-house and through key external craftspeople - to repair a wide range of jewellery, pearls, and watches.

  • Using industry-specific software, the entire repairs process is carefully managed, enabling accurate tracking of inventory and real-time insight into each item's repair journey, from intake to completion.

  • Working closely with manufacturer guidelines, the Repairs Co-ordinator will assess each item’s issues with a view to providing accurate timelines and cost estimates.

  • Strong communication with clients is essential, with regular updates provided on the progress of repairs.

  • This role requires collaboration with both internal colleagues and external partners to ensure timely completion of repairs, always with the goal of delivering the highest level of client satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Experience in jewellery and watch repairs is advantageous.

  • An understanding of high-end watch brands is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with jewellery-making processes and technical watchmaking terminology would be beneficial.

  • Proficiency in using Pursuit or a similar jewellery trade software system to manage repairs would be helpful.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service is key - as is maintaining an impeccably organised workspace that adheres to the highest safety and quality standards.
