We are currently recruiting for a perm role of a Warehouse Operator based in Chepstow

Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.

Contract: Perm

Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Salary: £23,920

To assist the team-leader, to coordinate the picking and packing of orders for both the production lines and customer orders. Contributing towards the smooth running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, check & pack orders ready for dispatch/production
  • Accurately and safely load and unload  wagons/deliveries ensuing deliveries are physically checked and booked in
  • Accurately completing paperwork/records e.g. ensure that the Batch numbers of all outgoing and incoming goods are maintained for traceability, completing drop sheets, labelling of stock from the suppliers
  • Assisting with the cycling counting/stock take when required.
  • Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment

  • Forklift licence.
  • Knowledge of picking systems, despatch methods and couriers; and
  • Enthusiastic and flexible, with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure.
