Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient physiotherapy team, providing advanced clinical support and leadership across medical and surgical wards. This role is ideal for someone confident in managing complex patients while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment in an inpatient setting

  • Lead and support a team of physiotherapists and assistants

  • Work closely with MDT colleagues to support patient recovery and discharge planning

  • Contribute to service evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and training

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist

  • Minimum 2 years of NHS experience, with Band 6 or Band 7 inpatient experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and supervise junior staff

  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

  • Experience working in acute medical, surgical, or respiratory wards preferred

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
