Our client is a well-known global brand currently seeking a temporary travel and operations coordinator to support during a busy period.
Your new role
You will be responsible for planning and booking all staff travel and accommodation for events. . The role also includes administrative support for the operations team to plan and manage events.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing flights, accommodation, transfers and car hire for approximately 20 staff, ensuring this is done in the most cost-effective way possible
- Investigating and understanding any Visa requirements as well as managing the Visa application process.
- Providing support to the operations team as required.
- Administration as required and managing purchase orders and invoices.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be part of a small and successful team who all pull together in the lead up to events and our client is seeking an individual who enjoys the varied work a small team brings.
- Experience negotiating hotel rates and cancellation polices
- You will need to have extensive experience of arranging global travel, have worked with travel partners and be able to research the most cost-effective routes.
- Managing multiple bookings simultaneously
- Experience arranging shipments of equipment as required to event sites
- Experience managing visa applications
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary role to cover a peak period.
You will be required to travel to the office 1 day a week near Chobham.
