Jacob Grey is seeking a Finance Manager for a high-end medical distributor based in Chesham.
The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in finance management and offers a market-leading salary.
The successful candidate will have full ownership of a small finance department and will report directly to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, managing transactional accounts, and overseeing payroll.
This position also provides opportunities to broaden the role by taking on additional operational functions within the business.

Thisrolewilloffertheopportunityforsomeonetohavefullownershipofasmallfinancedepartment,andtobeinvolvedinthedaytodayrunningofafabulousbusiness.Inaddition,thereistheopportunitytobroadentheroleandtakeownershipofsomeotheroperationalfunctions

ReportingtotheManagingDirector,yourdutieswillinclude:

Preparationofmonthlymanagementaccounts(toincludeprofit&loss,balance-sheetreconciliations,accruals,prepaymentsandjournaladjustments)
AssistingtheexternalaccountantwiththeproductionofAnnualAccounts
Toptobottommanagementofthetransactionalaccountsfunction,includingprocessingandsendinginvoices,dealingwithqueries,supplierstatementreconciliations,andpaymentsbyBACS
Bankreconciliations
Maintainingthefixedassetregister
Involvementinthebudgetingprocesswhenrequired
VATreturns
Overseeingthemonthlypayrollofasmallandprofessionalworkforce
Possibleresponsibilityforcompliance,companyHRandadmin

ThesuccessfulcandidatecouldbeeitherPartQualifiedorQBE,haveexcellentattentiontodetail,andbepreparedtochallengeandinvestigateanomalies.YouwillbemostateaseinanSMEenvironmentwhereyoucantakefullownershipofyourowndepartmentaswellasimpactotherareasofthebusinessandit'ssuccesses/growth.
