A welcoming and dynamic primary school in the Chesham & Dacorum area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Known for its warm, community-focused ethos, the school is committed to providing outstanding early childhood education within a nurturing environment.
About the RoleAs the EYFS Teacher, you will create a safe and inspiring learning space where children feel confident and motivated to explore. You’ll plan and deliver creative, hands-on activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child.
Key Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework

Observe and assess children’s progress and support individual learning milestones

Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, exploration, and kindness

Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and staff to support each child’s development

Maintain open and positive communication with families

Participate in whole-school initiatives, enrichment programs, and professional development

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early Years specialism preferred

Experience working in EYFS or nursery settings

Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS statutory framework

A creative, energetic, and patient teaching approach

Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
