About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and relevant Law lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
  • Teach key topics such as the English legal system, criminal law, civil law, and legal rights and responsibilities
  • Use real-life legal cases and current affairs to enhance student understanding and engagement
  • Assess student progress, provide clear feedback, and support academic development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through PSHE, assemblies, and enrichment activities (e.g. debate club, mock trials)

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Have experience teaching Law at secondary or post-16 level (A-Level/BTEC Law)
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to make complex legal topics accessible and engaging
  • Inspire students to think analytically and ethically about the world around them
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and ongoing professional development
