The idea candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of ASC and phonic schemes will be advantageous.

In order to promote and support effective learning you will work collaboratively with senior leadership and contribute to the planning and delivery of quality lesson.

Responsibilities:

Intervention roles in groups or 1-2-1 roles

Working across all key stages

Supporting students with special needs

The person will need to be motivated, resilient and very organized, be able to understand individual needs and deal with complex issues, have strong behavior management skills and be enthusiastic and have a passion to encourage young people to learn.
