What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll manage day-to-day office operations and full bookkeeping duties across multiple entities (currently 19 limited companies). This is a hands-on, varied role — ideal for someone who enjoys multi-tasking and taking ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Prepare monthly management accounts for all companies within 3 weeks of month-end.
  • • Process rental invoices, liaise with landlords, and recharge franchisees.
  • • Raise royalty and ancillary invoices monthly.
  • • Input supplier invoices and oversee payments via Xero.
  • • Manage monthly VAT returns and support quarterly filings.
  • • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable; maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • • Submit payroll to external provider and handle basic HR admin.
  • • Oversee new store openings: coordinate equipment orders, invoicing, and logistics.
  • • Work closely with our distributor to ensure smooth product supply to stores.
  • • Maintain key spreadsheets and reporting for royalty payments to Auntie Anne’s HQ in the USA.
  • • Support the Accounts Administrator with shared responsibilities and holiday cover.
  • • Ensure the office runs smoothly, including ad hoc admin and support tasks.
  • • A friendly, detail-focused professional with solid bookkeeping experience (ideally with Xero).
  • • A team player who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and support wherever needed.
  • • Someone who enjoys building relationships with colleagues and franchisees alike.
  • • Previous experience managing multiple entities or working in a franchise or retail business is a plus.
  • • Based locally or within easy reach of Chesham — office presence is required Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm (with flexibility to work from home 1 day/week once trained).
