A distribution company based in Chessington are looking for an organised and efficient Operations Office Administrator to join their team.
This role will be carrying out all the administrative tasks within the branch.
Operations Office Administrator Responsibilities:
- Maintain required levels of branch stationery, office and canteen consumables.
- Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, providing feedback to the Sales Team and Customers with all developments.
- Data entry of all production paperwork into spread sheets for analysis.
- Scanning all production paperwork into the relevant job folders.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers via telephone and face to face, ensuring visitors are treated promptly and with courtesy.
- Planning deliveries with external hauliers and customers via email and telephone.
- Using external haulier’s portals for entering deliveries onto their systems and liaising with the hauliers in relation to vehicle capacity/requirements.
- Cost control of transport spend.
- Data entry into Transport Charges Spreadsheet.
- Scanning all production paperwork into the relevant job folders.
- Organisation and processing of export documentation for overseas deliveries.
- Maintain and control Transport KPI’s distributing reports daily.
Operations Office Administration Specification:
- To have strong customer service and administration skills.
- To have experience in an office based customer service role
- Results driven, team player, detail conscious, personable
- Numerate, literate, IT knowledge (MS office), competent using Excel spreadsheets.
