The Role Nigel Wright is delighted to support a market-leading business in recruiting for this exciting opportunity!Our client is a trusted supplier in the engineering sector, providing essential products and services to major operators across the UK.The Role – Sales Coordinator This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business as a Sales Coordinator in an internal, office-based role. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background looking to develop a career in technical sales. With a strong promote-from-within culture, this role offers excellent long-term career progression—many of the company’s senior leaders began in similar roles!Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and product recommendations.
  • Process and manage sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Support external Sales Engineers by coordinating sales activities.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions.
  • Provide technical support and assistance where required.
The PersonWe are looking for the following skills/attributes;
  • An interest in engineering, technical sales.
