Are you a skilled Design Draughtsperson ready to take your career to the next level? Our client—a design and manufacturing business is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. What You’ll Be Doing
As a key player in the design team, you’ll bring concepts to life and collaborate across disciplines to deliver stunning, functional solutions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Creating high-quality, detailed arrangement drawings for client approval
- Collaborating with architects, consultants, and third parties to develop designs
- Using your expertise in 2D AutoCAD to drive precision and innovation
- Navigating Navisworks Manage (2020)—a plus, but not a dealbreaker
- Attending design and progress meetings both on-site and virtually (Teams/Zoom)
- Participating in internal handover, progress, and contract review sessions
- Coordinating with production, procurement, and site-based teams
- Ensuring seamless integration of design elements across all project stakeholders
- Managing RFIs, variations, and technical documentation with confidence
- Communicating structural details from our in-house Structural Engineer
- Tracking and reporting progress against contract timelines
- Handling project-specific admin and technical submissions
- Collaborating with fellow draughtspersons on high-profile, large-scale projects
