Accounts & Audit Senior

- Salary: Circa £40,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience

We are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a leading chartered accountants based in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to work within a distinguished and progressive firm that boasts a diverse and interesting client base. Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparation and review of statutory and management accounts for a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, charities and partnerships across various business sectors.
- Handling associated corporation tax computations and returns.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
- Working closely with clients to understand their business and providing tailored accounting solutions.
- Completion of Audits
- Split roughly 70/30 in favour of account preparation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified with post qualification experience
- Proven experience in year-end accounts preparation.
- Ideally Audit experience but could be trained on.
- Must have experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software.
