Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturer

Morson is partnering with one of the UK's leading aerospace manufacturers to find a Quality Engineer to join their team in Broughton.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the company's high standards of quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operational surveillance, including process, product, and people, to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis of reported quality technical issues from both internal teams and customers.
  • Work with multifunctional teams to implement appropriate containment, corrective, and curative actions.
  • Provide expertise in quality issues to support the shop floor and assist with the opening and closure of non-conformities.
  • Coach and conduct predictive quality activities for operations to improve processes and prevent foreign object damage.
  • Perform inspections and surveillance to prevent foreign object debris.
  • Manage non-conformities as necessary.
  • Act as the go-to person for quality issues on the shop floor.
  • Conduct improvement, prediction, and coaching activities as needed.
