Finance & Accounting Intern – Chester

Atrium EMEA are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern/Graduate to join an onsite International Statutory Reporting team as an Assistant Accountant. This role is ideal for recent graduates who may have some accounting experience / finance background and are eager to grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. PAYE contract for 12-24 months. You will be required onsite 50% in Chester Office.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with the completion of statutory audits
  • Support the team with statutory reporting and legal entity processes.
  • Help ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather and analyse financial data.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Essential:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Business fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with statutory and legal entity reporting, is an advantage.
