Azure Engineer £55,000-£60,000Hybrid - Chester x3 a week

The Company:

We're recruiting an experienced Azure Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in Chester. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and skilled individual to join their IT team in a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home). You'll play a key part in their IT operations, with a salary of up to £60,000 on offer, plus benefits.The Role:In this role, you'll be pivotal in supporting and maintaining their existing IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on their Azure environment. You'll ensure the smooth operation of critical systems, troubleshoot issues effectively, and contribute to the design and deployment of new services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support and maintenance for in-house IT systems, ensuring stability and efficiency.
  • Utilise your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve IT issues.
  • Design and implement new IT services and enhancements to existing systems and software.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Assess system effectiveness and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure the compatibility and interoperability of computing systems.
  • Offer third-line support for Windows Server and Active Directory (2008-2022).
  • Support and deploy M365 services, including Identity Management, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach when interacting with internal IT teams and business users.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting Azure environments.
  • Proven experience with M365 support and deployments.
  • Solid third-line support experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • A customer-centric approach with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum qualification: MCSA Office 365.
