Business Development DirectorAn independently owned Lloyd’s broker is seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Business Development Director to join in a pivotal, senior role.Based primarily from the Chester office (with regular travel to clients, markets, and London), this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a specialist brokerage with an entrepreneurial spirit and a reputation for excellence.You’ll work closely with the Board and wider team to deliver a bespoke business strategy, drive revenue growth, lead operational improvements, and strengthen relationships across both client and insurer networks.The role offers significant autonomy and visibility, ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery. There’s enuinely real scope to make a long-term impact, with the strong potential (And desire from the client) for you to progress to Managing Director.What you’ll bring:
