Cable Pullers - Chester (EFW Site)
Location: Chester
Rate: £17.50 per hour (Standard) | £26.25 per hour (after 37.5 Hours + First 6 Sat) | £35.00 per hour (All Hours After)
Duration: 8-12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work
LRL are currently recruiting for experienced Cable Pullers to work on a long-term Energy from Waste (EFW) project based in Chester.
You will be working alongside trades on site, supporting the installation of electrical systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project with strong potential for long-term work.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting electricians and other trades with cable pulling operations
Labelling and identifying cables accurately
Supporting with cable route planning across the site
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Adhering to all site procedures and health and safety regulations
Requirements:
JIB-graded as a Cable Hand or Leading Cable Hand
Previous experience on large-scale industrial projects (EFW or similar is advantageous)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A strong understanding of site safety protocols and compliance with PPE standards
Pay Rates:
£17.50 per hour (Standard rate up to 37.5 hours per week)
£26.25 per hour (First 6 hours on Saturdays and hours after 37.5 per week)
£35.00 per hour (All additional hours)
