Are you an experienced Air Quality Consultant ready to take the next step in your career? A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior position where you'll lead technical delivery, guide and mentor junior consultants, and build lasting relationships.



What You'll Do

As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you'll take the lead on a variety of air quality assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance projects. You'll collaborate closely with developers, planners, and local authorities, delivering high-quality reports and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Chester office.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors

  • Undertake dispersion modelling and review technical assessments

  • Produce clear, accurate reports, ES chapters, and client presentations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Mentor and support junior team members

  • Contribute to business development and proposal writing



What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulation

  • Proficiency with ADMS and AERMOD, with a strong understanding of IAQM/EPUK guidance

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline

  • Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards (desirable)

  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills

  • Full UK driving licence
