Description
The key responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Analyst includes:
- Interpreting daily and weekly performance data to provide actionable insights to the leadership team
- Supporting monthly reporting cycles and creating clear, concise KPI decks for senior stakeholders
- Designing and building tailored analysis to inform commercial decisions across the organisation
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes, working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Delivering high-quality ad hoc analysis to support both strategic and operational projects
Profile
The successful Commercial Finance Analyst should have:
- Strong analytical grounding, with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of financial modelling
- Excellent communication - confident presenting findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
- A proactive mindset - someone who enjoys solving problems and can work independently when needed
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment (prior hospitality or multi-site sector experience would be a bonus)
- Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
