OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to join a growing, top 10 accountancy practice. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including retail, media, technology, travel, manufacturing, and private equity-backed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied client portfolio, delivering a premium level of service
- Provide GAAP support and advisory services to clients, including assistance during audit processes
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and Companies Act requirements
- Lead and develop team members, setting clear objectives and supporting professional growth
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to departmental growth
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3 year's post-qualification experience
- Minimum of 1 year managing a full client portfolio
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 101, and UK Companies Act reporting
- Proven experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
